La Villa, cultural helping hand in the North West of Brussels
The Cultural Centre of La Villa, located in the heart of Ganshoren, bursts of activity. Its thriving creative workshops confirm the integral part the Centre plays for local socio-cultural life.
Indeed, through its expression and creativity projects, central to La Villa’s activity, the Cultural Centre is involved, amongst other things, in the defense of human rights.
The “Art’ Découvertes” expos showcase unknown painters, photographers and sculptors. This is the perfect stepping stone for artists who have their own personality and style.
Each year, the “Vue sur un pays" festival honours a specific country with a wide range of conferences, cinema-debates, expositions, concerts...
The Cultural Centre of Ganshoren also organises the “Fête de la musique” at the Guido Gezelle Square and participates each year in the French Community celebrations as well as the “Heritage Days”. It also hosts numerous social and cultural charities.
Although the animators office is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, La Villa lives beyond opening hours thanks to its creative workshops (music, painting, lacework, drawing etc.) and other cultural activities.
